The location was great conveniently near a bus stop to get you anywhere you want and the staff here was excellent. What's more, it was close enough to shops, and the pedestrian area in the most beautiful part of the old town.
The staff was not very friendly.

Belle Epoque tried to charge us a much higher room rate when we were checking out - not the Booked.net confirmed rated. Fortunately I had kept all of my email confirmations and they agreed, reluctantly, to honour the Booked.net rates. I am just lucky that I had hard copies of all the confirmed rates thru Booked.net, had I not, I am sure the Hotel would have made us pay the full rate. This seems like an egregious breach of contract with Booked.net and your clients.

Very charming hotel in the old city. Location was excellent to all the shops, sites and transportation methods. The hotel is small and comfortable with many artistic decorations that make it warm and hospitable. Staff all very friendly and helpful

The hotel has fully met the expectations in terms of art nouveau ambience.
For the birthday of my girlfriend, who is a big Art Nouveau fan, I had reserved a dinner in the hotel restaurant in Art Nouveau ambience in addition to the overnight stay with the booking - after checking the menu in advance. It was then actually also a table reserved for us with tablecloth and candle, very attentive. But the surprise came with the menu. We received a snack card! On my request I was told that this was an interseasonal menu, the menu on the website was not available. Unfortunately, there was no mention of this at the reservation as well as at the check-in, when we were asked for the time of the dinner. When we decided to have a real dinner in another restaurant, they helped us with some tips for surrounding restaurants. But nevertheless it is strange that the website advertises a service (menu card) that is not available at all. And that neither on the website nor during the reservation or the check-in it is somehow pointed out that the restaurant business is actually not really available. What a pity, unfortunately it leaves a somewhat stale aftertaste.

The charming atmosphere and friendly staff. The location offered easy access to popular attractions, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the room with its vintage decor. Breakfast options were generous, particularly with vegetarian dishes available. The bathroom felt a bit cramped, and some parking guidelines could use better clarity to avoid confusion.

I really liked thr fact that it had lots of character- the staff were really friendly, the location and atmosphere in the hotel were really welcoming, and the room was comfortable and quiet. I appreciate there's only so much that can be done with a beautiful old building like that, but perhaps it could do with a bit of a spruce up. Felt just a little bit.. tired. But please don't change the character of the place, because that's its greatest strength!
